Congratulations are in order! In our 2017 dues billing cycle, Texas REALTORS® raised over $2 million for TREPAC and exceeded the national participation goal of 37%. But Texas REALTORS® aren’t known for being good. We’re GREAT! Let’s use this momentum to push through our own state goal of 55% participation and $5 million!
Use the Chairman’s Report video above to present a “TREPAC Minute” at your next association’s meeting. This video will help spread the word about the value of TREPAC and provide Texas REALTORS® with a quick update about upcoming events.
Winter Meeting was a blast!
This year’s Texas REALTORS® Winter Meeting was jam-packed with engaging speakers, informative panels … and of course, fun events! If you missed it, read about some of the highlights below and on the Advice for Texas REALTORS® blog. This info will get you fired up to attend next year … or even better, make plans to attend the Texas REALTORS® Conference September 8–11 in Dallas.
Winter Meeting attendees heard from several industry experts, including former state legislators calling for school-finance reform, a market analyst who says Dodd-Frank may be on the way out, and Jamie Gregory, NAR’s deputy chief lobbyist, who explained issues NAR is watching in D.C.

Major Investors were in the spotlight all week
We kicked off Winter Meeting with the TREPAC Awards and Investors Breakfast. Special guest speaker REALTOR® Champion Rep. Larry Gonzales shared insight into the Texas Legislature and thanked Texas REALTORS® for being his go-to source about Texas’ economy.
The Bob Bullock Museum welcomed us for the TREPAC Major Investor Reception. Legislators from across Texas were in attendance to personally thank the Texas REALTORS® who supported their elections and honor all those who have gone above and beyond to support TREPAC. Check out our Major Investor Booklet for a full list of the 2016 Major Investors.
Hundreds of TREPAC Major Investors enjoyed an appreciation event at the Bullock Texas History Museum during the Texas REALTORS® Winter Meeting.
TREPAC puts the ball in your court
Thank you, Texas YPN and WCR, for making the first Volley for TREPAC event during Winter Meeting a huge success! We had a great night with lots of friendly Texas REALTOR® competition.
Texas makes RPAC news
Congratulations, Texas REALTORS®. The National Association of REALTORS® recently announced that Texas earned NAR’s prestigious Triple Crown Award for 2016. This annual RPAC (called “TREPAC” in Texas) award recognizes excellent performance in total dollars raised, number of major investors ($1,000+), number of President’s Circle investors, and PAC participation. Make REALTOR® Day at the Texas Capitol the biggest one yet!
REALTOR® Day at the Texas Capitol is April 4, but you should be planning your fundraiser now. Sponsoring a bus can be a great way to raise dollars and increase REALTOR® Day participation. Charge each REALTOR® to ride the bus, with all money going to TREPAC as a PAC investment.
By participating in REALTOR® Day at the Texas Capitol, REALTORS® will meet face-to-face with their lawmakers to discuss real estate-related issues that will directly affect our industry and the Texas economy. The most influential tool REALTORS® have is a unified voice of over 110,000 members. Put a face with that voice and show your legislators you care about our industry.
