Local Female Leaders Recognized | 2017 Women of the ROCK Award Winners Announced

Round Rock, Texas – 10 April 2017 – The list of 2017 Women of the ROCK Award Recipients were announced last week to the public.

Anita C Roberts, Publisher & Editor-in-Chief, Round Rock Living Magazine announced, “The Women of the ROCK Awards presents a distinguished list of 16 professional women that inspire the next generation, fuels entrepreneurial passion and galvanizes women to be a force for change. It’s about time the Women of Round Rock stepped into the spotlight. Round Rock, Texas is one of those hidden gems and so are its occupants.”

The 16 winners are all women who are leaders in their industry. According to Round Rock Living Magazine, “Recipients of these awards are women from various sectors - from public service to corporate, who have achieved immeasurable success. Female trailblazers who have broken glass ceilings, worked diligently to remove barriers for other women and are disrupting established industry norms through a high degree of professionalism, intellect, and innovation.”

One of the award winners is the Association Executive of the Williamson County Association of REALTORS®, Marge Phillips. “I am greatly honored to be listed among the amazing group of women honored by ‘Women of the Rock’ for 2017,” Marge said.  “I continue to feel that I am just doing my job and serving at the pleasure of my Board of Directors.  To be recognized for this work is very humbling and no one works in isolation as it does take a village to accomplish great things and my ‘village’ is an amazing group of REALTORS® and Affiliates here in Williamson County that continue to support, guide, counsel, laugh and share with me as I work to keep the association relevant and on the forefront of all things real estate. To all of you, a huge thanks and thank you for this recognition!”
