Sometimes marketing and networking is all about having the right information at the right time.  From a company side it’s also all about having your information in the right spot to be noticed or accessed.  I had a great experience of this on Saturday when I was visiting/shopping/looking for items in Home Depot for our latest bathroom remodel.

As I was pursuing all the color chips that didn’t match my piece of tile, a very anxious gentleman was standing next to me also looking and seeming to not be finding what he needed.  I made the comment, that yes, picking colors is really problematic and so hard to decide.  Well, that opened a well of conversation as I learned that he had just closed on a new home, his wife wanted the colors changed and etc. and he was to do it.  Only his wife was 500 miles away and wouldn’t be here until the end of August when they would be moving in! He said, “I’m supposed to have it all done when the family gets here and I have no idea where to start”.
