Election Season Checklist

2018 is shaping up to be a busy election year, not just in Williamson County, but all over Central Texas. ! Here is a quick checklist of resources to help you (and your clients) prepare

  • Register to Vote. Now is the time to confirm your voter registration status by clicking here. If you are not registered to vote you still have a few days to do so. The deadline to register to vote in the March 6 Primary is February 5. Click here for instructions on how to complete your voter registration form. Remember, you can’t vote unless you are registered! And, you can click here to find your polling location.
  • Check out TexasRealtorsSupport.com. The Texas Association of REALTORS® has put together a comprehensive list of TREPAC supported candidates on your ballot. Simply enter your address and click “Look Up My Candidates.” Please note: these candidates are for the state-level only.
  • Williamson County Elections. There are several key county races in the March 6 Primary including County Commissioner and County Judge. Your WCREALTORS Governmental Affairs Committee will be reviewing candidate questionnaires and conducting candidate interviews in the coming weeks. Please continue to watch your email for meeting notices about candidate interviews and a list of TREPAC supported candidates. Click here to look up your sample ballot.
  • City Elections. Many municipalities in Williamson County will be electing new mayors and council members on May 5. The last day to register to vote in these elections is April 5. Again, your WCREALTORS Governmental Affairs Committee will be reviewing candidate questionnaires and conducting candidate interviews over the next few months.
  • Other Important Dates. The 2018 General Election is November 6 and the last day to register to vote in this election is October 9.
